Even though Peru is one of the countries with the richest biodiversity in the world, its underwater biosphere has not been much explored yet. While ALL those species that are exploited commercially have been well studied and documented, an enormous amount of algae and other beings of spectacular beauty and fascinating behavior are still unknown. This book shows us much of the unknown biodiversity that inhabits the depths of the tropical areas of the Pacific Ocean in Peru; new species for science and for our eyes are shown in wonderful photographs. It also shows us some remote coastal landscapes of Peru.
